A sponsored coast to coast bike ride took place on the 2nd May 2009 Our close friend Jeff Kinkade presented a cheque of a fantastic £1, 635.

Jeff and his friends started from Cumbria and rode to Tynemouth – and the weather stayed good for them.

The money raised will go to our daughter Kasia’s memorial fund within CRY.

Kasia died from a genetic heart condition – Long QT syndrome. The sudden noise from a mobile phone startled her, setting her heart into an abnormal rhythm.

Many thanks to all the boys raising awareness and the wonderful cheque to a very worthy charity.
