On Friday 25th November, we held a coffee morning and participated in the CRY Great Cake Bake, raising money for Joe’s Memorial Fund. There was an array of cakes that we had either made ourselves or that had been donated from various people in the local community. On this morning we raised £417. Any cakes that were left over were sold at our raffle draw the following day and the sale of cakes raised £112. Staffordshire Police Control Room staff (where Joe’s dad works) also held a cake sale on their shift the previous night, and raised £151.61 for Joe’s fund. This gave us a grand total of £680.61.
