CRY’s new digital Update magazine

We decided to change our typical mailing process as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in an effort to make savings where we can. This has resulted in the CRY Update magazine primarily moving online, except for any supporters who specifically request a printed copy.

However, while these unprecedented times we are in may have prompted these changes, there are plenty of benefits to subscribing to the online version of the Update, which we are continuing to develop.

We are able to add more engaging content to the digital issue that simply can’t work in the printed copy. For one, we can include links for you to quickly access relevant pages on the CRY website, social media posts from recent months, interviews from members of the CRY team and our supporters, and more.

We also include videos covering all sorts of topics for you to enjoy watching as you flick through the magazine. For instance, in the latest edition of the Update (issue 81), the videos embedded throughout range from Professor Mary Sheppard’s presentation at the 2019 CRY Family Research Day on how CRY’s research has changed the way we understand the causes of young sudden cardiac death, to the BBC Lifeline charity appeal that CRY Patron Pixie Lott made for us in 2016.

It’s also easy to share the online version of the Update on social media, making it easy to help raise awareness. All you need to do is post the appropriate link to send people straight to the magazine (click here to open up the latest issue, or have a look below).

We would like to encourage you to subscribe to our enewsletter list to receive the digital version of the Update when it’s published. To do so, please click here.
