On the 3rd of May 2025 we held our 2nd CRYket Dinner & Dance to raise funds and awareness following Ben’s Cardiac Arrest on 2nd October 2022.

130 friends joined us from all areas of our life at Sidcup RFC where we enjoyed a 3 course meal, some fun & games and plenty of drinking & dancing!

We are one of the lucky families because Ben survived his cardiac arrest thanks to CPR and defibrillation but it always emotional for us as family to relive that time and to hear Ben tell his story, which he did so eloquently in his welcome speech.

We held a raffle and silent auction and thanks to some generous ‘fund matching’ we raised an astonishing £15,070.38 on the night which will again go towards screening young sports men & women for undiagnosed heart conditions..

A huge thank you to all those who attended and those who donated prizes, (as well as those who bid so generously)! And as ever a massive thanks to the friends who helped us put the event together and our friends & family who are a constant support.

Next year’s dinner and dance is booked in and our 3rd 24hr/7 day static bike ride launches on 19th July 2025!
