In 2024, my girlfriend and I went through something that changed our lives forever. She suddenly collapsed from a cardiac arrest right in front of me. There were no symptoms, no warning, just a terrifying moment that came out of nowhere.
I immediately began CPR while waiting for the paramedics to arrive. Those minutes felt endless. It was the most helpless and terrifying experience of my life, doing everything I could to keep her alive before emergency services arrived.
Thankfully, she survived. But that day showed me just how fragile life can be. And how many young people may be living with undiagnosed heart conditions, unaware of the risk.
That’s why I’m running the 2026 TCS London Marathon to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
I’m aiming to raise £2,200 to support CRY’s work and help prevent more families from going through what we did.
Your donation — no matter how small — could help save a life.
