Daniel Lee Duncan

This memorial fund has been set up in honour of Daniel Lee Duncan, or Danny Bomber as known to many, to raise money to help provide research in rare cardiac conditions which often go unnoticed until proving fatal. Daniel loved sport and keeping fit from a young age with his passion for boxing being something that Dan both loved and had a natural ability in. Throughout his 26 years Daniel achieved so much raising money for charity, taking part in local running events, travelled the world and always helped others be the best they could be, inspiring those around him to succeed in their endeavours while always being kind to those less fortunate. His passing at the age of 26 was not only a massive shock to his close friends and family, but also to the local community. He was simply pursuing the passion in Boxing however Dan was suffering with an unknown heart condition known as Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC).
This condition is extremely difficult to diagnose as well as treat, Daniel previously attended screening however this was not picked up. Screening needs to be improved as well as the funds being directed to research activities for treatment of this condition, which is why we have set up this memorial fund.
We would like to say a massive thank you to anyone who chooses to donate in memory of Daniel, we are truly grateful.
