Congratulations and a huge “thank you” to our 12 CRY runners who took part in the Do It For Charity 5km/10km Super Hero Run, in aid of CRY on Sunday 15th May 2011.
Everyone enjoyed another fantastic race day and the weather held out to create perfect running conditions. It was a lovely atmosphere, at a fun event which we were pleased to be a part of.
It was wonderful to meet most of the members of the CRY team, as well as their supporters, at the start and finish area. Among the runners who took part were Kerry Gray and Rebecca Upson, CRY staff. This was their first official run. Both of them finished the race and hope to continue running.
Thank you so much to all who came to meet us. We are grateful to all who have sent in photographs from the day. If you haven’t already then please do send any photos you have to [email protected] – we will include as many as possible on this webpage.
Once again, we would like to thank each and every runner for their huge efforts in completing the race and fundraising for CRY. Your time and valued support are truly appreciated. Well done!

“Paul Constantine and family members took part in the CRY Charity Run yesterday to raise money for the charity on behalf of Matt Cooper (Kent) who was Paul’s nephew who we unfortunately lost last year.
In the group photograph from left to right are Ron Constantine (Matt’s Grandad), Paul Constantine (Matt’s Uncle), David Constantine (Matt’s Great Uncle), Andy Goldsmith (Matt’s family friend), Peter Brown (Matt’s family friend and work colleague) and Daniel Cooper (Matt’s brother).
They all completed the run in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!! I am sure they will be planning to do it all again!!”
