Harley’s Grandad Dougie did the 12 a week challenge on the 21st of November 2020.

After he finished work at Waltham Cross he walked home in memory of his beloved grandson.

As we all know fundraising events have not been possible this year and so Grandad Doug decided this was the only opportunity for him to do something in Harley’s memory despite being 76 years old and having left home for work at 5am that morning he took up the challenge.

Sarah Reynolds kindly donated £20, £20 was from Nanny Freda and £20 from Michelle Bourne (Harley’s mum)

The photos included show his actual time, unfortunately, it didn’t register the distance, which door to door is over the distance shown on the Maps example.

Let’s hope 2021 allows us to organise something properly for Harley and CRY to help reduce those 12 A Week lost.
