On the 20th April we had a Easter cake & craft sale in aid of CRY, in memory of our son Richard.

We had a brilliant! afternoon with lots of delicious! yummy cakes that my family, friends & work colleagues had donated!  and beautiful crafty bits too.

It was a beautiful sunny day, so people who wanted to stay could sit in my the garden with a piece of cake and a cuppa, and of course a glass of wine or two! We also had a Raffle! Lots of great prizes! We raised £700 😀 at our sale which is fab, especially as I manged to do all this in our small home.

I would like to say a massive thank you to my daughter for all her help with the baking that took us all week to make, and for the beautiful hand painted glass she did. Thank you so much to everyone else who donated cakes and craft to our sale! It means a lot, I am humbled with all the support we received thank you ❤️

Update: A lovely friend of ours, Michaela, sold the rest of the cakes we had left from our sale at her work place and raised another £28- so it’s now £728.
