Family gather in London for the CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk in memory of Ashley Trigg

Last weekend almost 800 people walked together in memory of loved ones and a shared acknowledgement of the 12 apparently “fit and healthy” young people (35 & under) who die every week in the UK from young, sudden, cardiac death (YSCD).

The family of Ashley Trigg were supported by a large team of family members and friends who travelled to Southwark Park on Sunday to join the annual charity walk.

The family, from Harlow first became involved with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) following the tragic and sudden death of Ashley in April 2016 from a previously undiagnosed heart condition.

She was just 25 years old when she died. Since her death, her family have raised over £25,000 for Charity.
