Family of David Hill have raised over £20,000 since November to fund CRY Screening

MORE than £20,000 has been raised by family and friends of the late David Hill for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in a bid to save young lives locally.

Popular David suddenly passed away at the young age of 30 during the Parliamentary Six Nations fixture between the Scottish Parliamentary Rugby Football Club and the Dàil and Seanad RFC at Donnybrook Stadium, Dublin.

On Saturday, David was remembered as teams from the Scottish and Irish parliaments faced each other in the first annual David Hill Memorial Quaich. It was followed by a fundraising dinner in his honour.
