The sudden death last year of a young woman from Tunbridge Wells aged just 24 who is “loved beyond measure and missed endlessly”, has sparked a fundraising effort to get free heart screening for young people across the town.

Olivia Moorman with “striking big blue eyes and an infectious smile” was passionate about her job as an ambulance driver and was looking forward to training as a paramedic. But she tragically passed away in her sleep at her boyfriend’s house last May.

She was “healthy and happy” and her death was described as a “huge shock” to everyone who knew her. Her family say they don’t know yet why she died, but they want to raise awareness of sudden cardiac death.”
