Making last-minute preparations for an emotive charity walk on Sunday are Patricia Berry and Carly Sykes, along with 10 other members of their family.
The 8km walk, across eight of London's bridges, is in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Patricia's son and Carly's husband, footballer Paul Sykes, died in 2005 from an undiagnosed heart defect. He was just 28 years old, and used to play for Dover Athletic and Folkestone Invicta.
Since then, the family have been raising money for the charity by taking part in various events, including the London Marathon.
Patricia and Carly will be joined by their sisters and cousins and other members of the family for Sunday's event.
One of CRY's best known celebrity patrons is actor and Little Britain comedian David Walliams who says the walk will also draw attention to the fact that eight young people die of sudden cardiac illnesses every week in the UK.
Walkers will again by led by opera star and veteran fund-raiser Kathryn Harries, who will be joined by a fitness instructor, Kirk Douglas, to help the crowd 'warm up' before the walk.
CRY was launched 13 years ago to raise awareness of the conditions that can lead to sudden and unexplained cardiac death in young people (aged 35 years and under), all of whom were apparently fit and healthy.
