During last week I held an exhibition of the paintings I have made over the last 50 years at Denbies Vineyard Gallery. Each day every visitor received leaflets about the work that CRY do. Some made a contribution in the collection box and some talked about personal or second hand experience of CRY. Many had not heard of CRY and it was good that we were able to spread the word. On Friday 14th we held a Private View with wine and canapes for a group of 30 friends, and through the sale of paintings were able to raise just over £1,000 pounds to send to CRY. It was a gratifying experience for me to be able to put back a little into the sporting community from which I have derived so much pleasure during my life.
