On the 16th of March we held our first North Staffordshire & South Cheshire walk and talk group.
We had people travel from Formby, the Wirral, Derby and Nottingham as well as some from closer to home. The walk started at the Broughton Arms in Rode Heath, we took a gentle stroll along the canal towpath before returning to the pub where we all enjoyed a bite to eat and the conversations continued amongst the group. It was nice to be able to bring people together who have suffered losses similar to ours for them to share their stories and experiences in a relaxed environment.
We hope those who attended found it beneficial and we look forward to hosting another walk soon. The photograph is of the group enjoying lunch at the pub.
