A football tournament organised in the memory of a 29-year-old man who died suddenly of a heart attack this year raised £725.
The Steve Tanner Shield was played as a six-a-side tournament with 16 teams competing at Folkestone Sports Centre on Sunday. Proceeds will go to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Mr Tanner worked at the sports centre for many years alongside his friend Tom Weeks, the sports hall supervisor who organised the tournament. Mr Weeks said:
