“In loving memory of Fraser Vaughan from Laxey, Isle of Man who tragically died on 30/12/19 at the age of 27 from sudden cardiac death.
This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death through supporting CRY’s research programme. The aim is to fund research into the causes and prevention of young sudden cardiac death.
Sadly Fraser passed away despite previously normal heart screenings and thus just shows the amount we still have to learn about the heart conditions which cause sudden cardiac death. For this reason his family would like to show particular support to the research efforts by CRY with this fund.
Unbelievably 12 young people die every week in the UK from sudden cardiac death. Please help us prevent further tragedies by making donations and raising money in Fraser’s name. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.”
