On September 3rd myself and Craig Courts ran the half marathon in honour of our late friend Amit. We had initially planned to run the event with Amit but he sadly passed from an undiagnosed heart condition in February 2023, so we decided to run in his honour. His wife and other friends and family ran the 10k event on the same day in his honour. The event itself went well and we had lots of support around the course. We also managed to raise £2,173.16 for the CRY charity through our fundraising.
