On 5th February 2014 we sadly lost Owen, suddenly and unexpectedly, on the day he celebrated his 46th birthday. Owen was a funny, laid back and loving guy.

He took everything in his stride and would say “what will be will be” and always had a smile on his face.

Losing Owen is devastating and life will never be the same without him.

Owen was a proud dad of 3 amazing children – Sam aged 17, Hannah aged 15 and Jack aged 12. A treasured husband, son, brother and uncle.

He was also a great friend to many. Without a doubt Owen will be dearly missed.

Owen was taken from us too young and in his memory we chose Cardiac Risk in the Young as our charity, as he would have been honoured to make his contribution to saving young lives.

Through JustGiving we raised £745 from generous family and friend donations. Owen also worked for a few short months at Ocado and in memory of Owen his colleagues started a collection and raised an amazing £1300, which took our total to £2045.

We are continuing to fundraise where we can in memory of Owen.

The amount we have raised so far is testament to the kind of man Owen was and we are very grateful.
