Please find below a photo of a presentation of a cheque to Anne and Alf Reynolds in memory of their son Peter Reynolds.

Since this tragic death, we at the Cribbs Causeway Marks & Spencer store, have raised several sums of money totalling over £2500 which we have sent to CRY. In the picture we have Peter Line – the Store Manager; Bev Pearce; Anne and Alf Reynolds; Margaret Thomas and Lyn Hacker.

Bev, Lyn and Margaret have been the main fundraisers at the store, backed by numerous members of staff who have donated to the charity. We have also had the sum pictured in the photo (£900.71) matched by our head office and sent directly to CRY.

We have had raffles, sponsored half marathons runs, lost property sales, and for 2007 we are sponsoring Lyn Hacker running the Bristol Half Marathon – but with a twist! All staff donating are being asked to guess how long Lyn will take to run the 13.2 miles and the nearest will go into a raffle for some stunning prizes given through the store.
We can only hope to repeat our previous total and help the charity to fund even greater work to stop more people suffering as Anne and Alf have done.
