Two events in Sidmouth have raised £965 for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
A cake sale and coffee morning was held at Dissenters Hall on Friday, November 25, which also featured stalls selling bunting, Christmas decorations and bric-a-brac. The stalls and a raffle raised £680.
On Saturday, December 3, The Sid Valley Cycle Club raised £285 from a raffle at their Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening. Prizes were donated by members of the club.
The money raised will go to the Jonathan Hayman Memorial Fund set up with CRY, to enable free heart screening for local youngsters.
Marion and Robert Hayman would like to thank everyone involved for contributing so generously with their time and money, at both events.
