A Market Weighton woman rowed 500km in memory of her sister. Kyla Hanson took part in the challenge to raise money for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young.)
Her younger sister, Jodie, died after suffering a heart attack in 2004. She was 20.
Kyla completed the feat on a rowing machine at a gym in the town. She raised £250 for the charity which raises awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young and Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
Kyla has previously completed other sponsored challenges for CRY, including a spinathon, rowing a marathon and 1,000 miles by bike and boat.
Kyla, 27, said: "It was very challenging but also enjoyable and rewarding. Thanks to all the people who sponsored me – Woldhaven and my friends and family – that kept me going."
