Lewis Stewart

In May 2018, We lost Lewis, just 2 months after his 19th birthday.
Without even an inkling that there could have been a health issue, he was gone, leaving a hole that grows daily.
There are no words that can help when you lose a child, grandchild, brother but the actions of CRY in the immediate aftermath helped our family enormously and helping to spread their word gives us all a purpose.
Our ultimate aim is to raise enough to pay for a screening session for young people, so that we can help steer other families away from the catastrophic loss our own has had to endure. Lewis was a strong character and had so much more to give but that was taken away from him, so we carry on his name in this way and hopefully help others as we do.”
This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death through supporting CRY’s screening programme.
The aim is to fund the screening of young people within the local community.
