London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023

Event Write up

Thank you and congratulations to the 37 CRY runners who took part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 2nd April 2023!

CRY staff Stevie Ward, Cara MacMillan, Megan Alford, Phil Houlton and Hannah Walker were there on the day along with our amazing volunteers, Enya Maguire, Leah Maguire, Suzanne Rowan, Kayleigh Griffith and Krisztina Cserhalmi at the CRY cheer point. We were so glad that we were able to see so many CRY runners! Everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

With 17,249 runners taking to the streets of London, the buzzing atmosphere along the route really made the day special. The enthusiastic CRY cheering team spurred on our CRY London Landmarks team with noisy whistles and cowbells! We saw some fantastic costumes and fancy dress including a few well-known buildings, a Toothpaste Tube, a Gorilla and much more.
