London Landmarks Half Marathon Write Up 2026

Thank You to Our Amazing London Landmarks 2026 Team!

A huge congratulations and heartfelt thank you to the 43 incredible CRY runners who took on the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday, the 12th of April 2026!

CRY staff members Cara MacMillan, Phil Houlton, Rubina Culka-Smalley, Shannon Skehan and Phoebe Ramaty were out on the course, joined by our fantastic volunteers: Rikesh Mistry, Dean Sharpe, Suzanne Rowan, and Malcolm Terry.

It was a joy to see so many of our CRY runners on the route—full of energy, smiles, and determination through rain and sunshine!

With 20,000 runners taking over the streets of London, the atmosphere was absolutely electric. Our spirited CRY cheer squad lit up the day with their cowbells, whistles, and boundless encouragement, creating a wave of support from start to finish. The creative costumes were a particular highlight – everything from a giant pair of ovaries to an elephant, Bluey the dog, a unicorn, and CRY runner Matthew Ladkin donning our mascot (Echo!) for the duration of the race.
