In 2014, I lost my big brother Alex to a sudden heart attack. Alex was fit and healthy with no underlying cardiac complications.
Therefore, this April, I completed the London Marathon in support of CRY. I raised over £5,000 and also had a shout out on the BBC for CRY.
Sadly, my family has been diagnosed with a genetic heart conditions known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which can show mild to no symptoms, making frequent testing important to all.
I miss my amazing brother every single day and through your support and donations I can feel as though I am helping achieve something towards this amazing cause.
Love you lots Alex, hope you’re proud.
