In August, Cardiff medical student Elin Harding and her father Andy cycled from London to Paris to raise money for CRY. They were inspired to undertake this adventure in memory of their dearly missed relative, Owen, who tragically passed away from sudden cardiac death on 3rd September 2013 aged just 13.

Starting in Greenwich they cycled a total of 220 miles over 3 days, crossing the Channel from Newhaven to Dieppe. On the plus side there was no rain and they suffered no punctures. On the negative side 30 degree heat and no wind gave an extra dimension to the challenge!
