Marston Moor and Marston Close have always enjoyed a great community spirit.However during lockdown neighbours have become firm friends and we decided we would try to raise funds for a charity chosen by the Marstonians as we are now known by.
We held various activities which included a map treasure hunt our group exercise turned into a line dancing group which continues today and we each make a donation each week. We have held raffles a scarecrow festival and a Christmas evening for the children. Sue, our super seamstress, raised an amazing £400 making masks and selling them. These are just some of the things we did to raise money and we are donating £1,015.
