The fourth date on the Miccoli tour brought the band to Cambridge at the Grafton Centre. Unfortunately due to being located in a congested part of the centre, Saturday was a fairly quiet day for the band. On the Sunday however, Miccoli were moved to a better location within the centre and were approached by a number of people.
The band met parents who were adopted and observed that “It is important for parents who are adopted and have no knowledge of their medical history to have their own biological children screened for hereditary heart abnormalities”.
The band were pleased that they were able to talk to people about CRY and make an impact after what had been a slow start to the weekend. They left feeling that they had been successful in raising awareness for CRY.
On Friday 19th September the band were mentioned in the Cambridge news which was wonderful and really helped with their efforts to raise awareness.
This weekend Miccoli are due to play in Swindon and have planned interviews on BBC Wiltshire on 26th September at 2.00PM and BBC Radio Shropshire on 3rd October. Hopefully the Brunel centre in Swindon will bring lots of interest for Miccoli and for CRY.
