On Saturday 2nd May, Millers Barn Golf Park hosted a hugely successful Charity Day, raising an incredible £5,000 for charity.

The club generously donated all green fees throughout the day, and thanks to the amazing support from local businesses and supporters, we were also able to offer some fantastic raffle prizes. With a food van on site, competitions running on every hole, and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish, it really was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone involved.

We were also very lucky to have the weather on our side, which helped make the event even more special.

This result now leaves just short of us achieving our goal of funding a two-day heart screening event in Clacton-on-Sea — something we are incredibly proud to be working towards.

A huge thank you goes to CRY for their support with banners and money pots for the day, as well as another local CRY group who kindly provided additional banners to help raise awareness and support the event.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported the day in any way. Your generosity and support are helping us move one step closer to making a real difference in our community.
