A Southampton medical centre has been boosted by the donation of a new heart scanner.
The Southampton branch of the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young splashed out almost £8,000 on the ECG unit for Bitterne Health Centre.
Charity area fundraiser Mary Abraham said: It will be used to pick up any difficulties or problems with the heart. The Centre is really thrilled with this and we have also paid for two doctors and four nurses to be trained to use it.”
