As a community we wanted to celebrate Pauls 20th memorial with a real impact and set a target or raising £20,000 to give back and make a difference in Pauls memory. We raised funds through cake stalls at local football games, raffles, blind cards, a charity night with an auction as well as individuals events. We had people who ram marathons, businesses that donated their Christmas bonuses to the fund, local people who donated money, hampers drinks every single little bit helped to make a difference. We soon realised that we could not do it alone but with lots of little bits of help we could and we did achieve our goal.
