The Prescot Cables Reserves took on the CRY Select XI (which included stars such as boxer Tony Bellew) in a charity match in memory of Jack Riding who died of an undiagnosed heart condition. The game raised money to support the Riding family and towards free heart screenings organised by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
