Congratulations and a huge “thank you” to our 14 CRY runners who took part in the Reading Half Marathon in aid of CRY on Sunday 20th March 2011.

Everyone enjoyed another fantastic race day and the weather held out to create perfect running conditions. It was an incredible atmosphere, at a unique event which we were pleased to be a part of.

It was wonderful to meet nearly all of the members of the CRY team as well as their supporters at the finish area. We were grateful to hear that many of them had supported other team members and given an encouraging cheer if they saw another CRY runner on the course.

Thank you so much to all who came to meet us, despite feeling emotionally and physically exhausted. It was a challenging day for everyone, and especially difficult for those who were running in memory of a partner, family member or friend.
