This was our first attempt at a Beer Fest. We were not sure what to expect but we were absolutely overwhelmed by the support we got and the number of people who attended.

We had over 20 real ales and 3 ciders and raised an incredible £4024.00, including barrel sponsorship from over 20 local businesses and individuals for which we are so grateful.

We donated £400.00 from the funds raised to Ackworth Junior football club with whom we have a great working relationship. This meant that we were able to send £3624.00 to Rory’s Foundation at CRY.

We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard on the day to help us to achieve this and also all the people who attended and helped to make the Beer Fest such a success.

We hope to have a 2nd Beer Fest next year.

Anne Embling
