On October 24th, 2021 the family and friends of Scott Cowan will meet for the first time since his death in November 2020 at the tragically young age of 25 years old.
This day will see a memorial football tournament be held in Scott’s honor with people from all areas of his life coming together to remember Scott while kicking a ball about and having a laugh both on and off the park.
The event will be held at Mossedge Village (145 Brediland Road, Linwood, Paisley PA3 3RX). The day’s events start from 11 am with the football tournament which will then be followed by a trophy presentation.
Afterwards, there will be a raffle in the adjoining function area followed by a chance to mingle with other attendees as we remember Scott by sharing some of the many memories he left behind.

The tournament will also be held to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) who work to help prevent young sudden cardiac deaths as it was ultimately an undiagnosed cardiac condition that lead to Scott being taken away from his many loved ones far too early.
So we want to help CRY keep their cardiac screening program running so they can continue to help prevent young cardiac deaths so that others won’t have to pass before their time and those who love them won’t have to endure the pain that comes with losing someone before their time.
