Around 250 students have been checked for heart problems as the inspiring parents of a popular postie keep his legacy alive. The sessions held at Newcastle College also come after the death of a student who passed away last year from a heart condition.
The screenings, in conjunction with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), are able to take place as the parents of Daniel Hughes continue their incredible efforts to help ensure famillies don’t experience the same tragedy they did.
