Senior manager Joe Williamson at Sheffield United’s Community Foundation is completing Virtual 92

A member of Sheffield United’s Community Foundation staff is currently looking to raise vital funds in a bid to fund a full cardiac screening day for at least 100 young people aged between 16-35.

Senior manager Joe Williamson is completing the Virtual 92 (the distance between the 92 Premier League and EFL stadiums) which has seen him walking/cycling over 24 miles every day since the beginning of June, with the challenge ending on the final day of August.

Every week 12 seemingly fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions and unfortunately in 2017 one of those was a family member of Williamson’s, aged just 31 years old. Those who want to follow the fundraiser can do so on Twitter @J_L_WTweets
