The Bellringers and friends of Stoke St Mary village outside Taunton were out and about carol singing on Thursday 21st December, raising funds for  C-R-Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young), and the hearing Dogs for deaf people.  Everyone was so kind offering sustenance along the way and a total of  £345.00 was raised.

The funds for C-R-Y are for the memorial fund of Gary Edwards who died of a previously undiagnosed heart condition on 12th July 2015. It is hoped that a screening and raising awareness event will be held in Taunton when sufficient monies are raised.
