I have added £210 to the Paul Sheridan memorial fund, for the 2016 CRY great cake bake, which I held in memory of my son Paul James Sheridan, who died from a sudden cardiac arrest, at the age of 34.  Paul would have been 37 this November – he certainly would have approved of the selection of

Great cake bake in memory of Jon Hayman

On Saturday 26th November, Malden House, a residential care home, opened their doors to provide a venue for a cake bake held in memory of Jon Hayman. Great cake bake in memory of Balinder Mann

I decided to do a curry-off instead of a bake off, as my baking skills are not up to scratch.  I made 45 curries for all my colleagues at work (Agility Logistics) and sold them to raise money for CRY. They went down a treat, my colleagues loved them and can’t wait for the next curry

Great Cake Bake in memory of Alan Lumley

Great Cake Bake – Sarah Shaw

Following on from my first fundraiser last year I followed the same format of a coffee morning with cakes, Christmas goods for sale, and CRY Christmas cards. We raised £605 including the sale of the cards, and had a great chance to catch up with friends. Sarah Shaw

Great Cake Bake – Theresa Owen

We raised a total of £327 from our cake sale in Eastbourne. We combined the cake sale with a Christmas decoration sale, and Jackie kindly donated 50% of her sales to CRY. The Christmas decorations made £51! We then ran a silent auction on Michael’s Christmas tree cupcake, and this raised another £50! Theresa Owen

A big thank you to friends who attended my cake bake. Despite my broken wrist even I managed to make a few cakes! Friends also brought delicious samples that sold well. We managed to raise just over £200. Sue Fisher
