Saturday saw the running of the monthly Tavy 5k race, organised by Tavistock Athletic Club. This was a rather special event as it was dedicated to the memory of Clarissa Nicholls, who was a junior member of the Club from 2015 to 2019.
Sadly, in May of this year, she had a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest whilst hiking with friends in France. She was just a few days short of her 21st birthday.
