Last year, CRY was shortlisted in 10 different regions across the UK in Tesco’s Bags of Help Centenary Grant. Thanks to our supporters raising awareness and so many people voting, we finished with great results and are proud to have received a phenomenal total of £165,000.
This donation from Tesco’s initiative is now being used to fund screening events in all of these regions, with the first now booked in Lyndon, West Bromwich for March 8th.
Over the coming weeks, we will be booking screenings in all 10 regions. This will not only lead to thousands of young people being screened, but more awareness around the country, as these events – and CRY in the process – are publicised.
The regions for these screenings include:
- East Anglia
- East Midlands
- West Midlands
- Greater Manchester
- Mid and West Wales
- North West
- South London
- Cornwall
- Highland & Islands/North East Scotland
- South Yorkshire & Lincolnshire
