On 10th September, Team Megan’s Mayhem undertook the last quarter of The Thames Challenge. One member of the team, Hero Matthew White, was brave enough to complete the whole 100km in an impressive time of fourteen hours. There were twenty seven members in the team made up of Megan’s friends and family.

The Challenge was particularly poignant as the 10th September would have been Megan’s 19th birthday. It was a bright but chilly start and spirits were high as we marched along the banks of the Thames, to finally finish in Henley with a glass of bubbly. As Megan’s mum I was so pleased to be with her friends and family on what was such a difficult day.

I cant thank everyone enough for all their continued support. We raised £15,006.25. 

I hope the team will join again for next years Thames Challenge.
