THE manager of a pub in Malvern has thrown his support behind a cause to get children tested for a heart condition that took the life of a local teenager.
Lewis Daley, manager of of The New Inn, said he was approached by a family member of Matthew Notley, a 14-year-old boy from Malvern who died of a sudden heart attack, to see if he could help.
Speaking earlier this year, Matthew’s father Chris Notley said his son had no symptoms before he died and was fundraising to have all 200 pupils in Matthew’s year group at The Chase tested for heart conditions.
