I met Simon’s mum Michaela in May 1995 when Simon was 5 years old. I was thai boxing at that time and Simon took an interest in this, he was a very energetic boy and loved putting on the gloves to spar with me as often as he could.
Tragically, our lives were turned upside down in August of that year when Simon passed away suddenly and unexpectedly aged 6 years of a sudden cardiac death.

Everyones lives changed that day!

Dylan and Georgia were born a few years later, the fear and sadness never leaving us for one minute.
we were then informed about CRY.

After attending a conference on sudden cardiac death in London, Dylan and Georgia were then referred for cardiac screening which they have had annually in Leeds ever since.

I have began boxing again and wanted to do this in memory of Simon with all proceeds to CRY.

My first charity boxing event via White Collar Boxing has raised £800.

I am continuing with this charity event for CRY and will hopefully have Simon by my side xx
