Totton Running Club in Hampshire have selected Cardiac Risk in the Young as our chosen charity for 2025/6 and will be raising funds in support of local resident Sue Carter who fundraises In memory of her son Ryan Carter.

We will be looking to raise funds through a series of events with he first one being our annual New Forest Stinger race which was held on Sunday 30November 2025. The Stinger is a glorious cross country race in the New Forest with a brutal uphill finishing section.

The event was sold out in the local running community and once we have finalised the accounts we will be donating a proportion of the profits to Sue’s campaign.

Further fundraising is planned though out the year in the form of a Christmas fancy dress wizards and witches run, a quiz night and our annual club 10K race.
