Trillick and District YFC is undertaking a sponsored Tractor Trek around Northern Ireland on July 5, 6 and 7, finishing at Omagh Show on the afternoon of Saturday, July 7.
The club hopes to raise money for charities that have special significance for its members – MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
The members will be using a New Holland Tractor, sponsored by Brian Keys Tractors, Dromore, and pulling a trailer on which local businesses have very kindly taken the opportunity to 'buy' a section on which to attach an advertising board.
A Trillick and District YFC spokesperson said: "We will be spending one night of our journey at Annaclone and Magheraly club hall – thank you to the club for their hospitality! – and one night in Portstewart"
The club would like to thank all those who have already supported its Tractor Trek, especially Brian Keys, all the other sponsors, Willie Wilson from Cappagh YFC for his very valuable advice in the planning of the trek and Trevor Armstrong.
The spokesperson added: "We look forward to even more support as we travel around the province."
