The staff, parents and the children of The Unicorn Primary School, Beckenham held a CRY awareness and fundraising week which culminated on Friday 24th November with a fantastic cake sale. The weeks’ events ended up raising £900 for CRY in memory of Evan James Shonfield. As well as the cake sale there was a raffle and a red clothing day and leaflets were distributed showing the work that CRY does and parents were made aware of what was on offer in terms of screening etc.

Evan’s mum Sharon was overcome by the sheer generosity of everyone involved and would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Robertson the headteacher and all staff and parents who helped to make the events such a wonderful success.
