A man carried a heavy load across the Malvern Hills on Saturday in aid of two charities. George Anstey of Broadway, strapped a washing machine weighing 82.6 kilos to his back and trekked the 12.2 miles in support of Cardiac Risk in the Young and Experiment in International Living. The challenge took around six hours and 45 minutes and Mr Anstey has raised £1,760.
