On Tuesday 7th January, Wellington College Belfast presented a cheque to Cardiac Risk in the Young for £14,800. This makes the amount raised by the College over the past three years a fantastic £25,800.
The reason behind all of this fundraising was the tragic death of pupil Sarah Booth in June 2010. It is a mark of the respect and affection that she inspired that we have raised all this money in her name.
At a special assembly, we were delighted to have Sarah’s parents with us as well as Joe Passmore from CRY and past pupils from Sarah’s year group (all pictured below with Ms Sarah Cochrane).
Well done to all involved!
